Each year Birmingham holds not one but two bonfire night celebrations - both on different days so you don’t have to miss out!
The biggest, most spectacular of the two displays takes place on 4th November at Pype Hayes Park. Over 30,000 people flock to the huge event every year to ooh and aah at the huge firework display and the massive bonfire, enjoy the entertainment - provided every year by Galaxy 102.2 - and enjoy the funfair, which will keep kids and adults alike amused for hours.
This year Galaxy are providing numerous live acts, none of which have been named as yet, to get the party started this bonfire night. Expect the hottest R&B sounds combined with the most dazzling fireworks display Birmingham has seen with a firework sculpture, dancing flames and special effects. And if you can’t get enough of bonfire night head out again on the 5th to catch the Edgbaston fireworks display.
A themed laser and lights display it he comfort of covered seating at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, this is one for those who like to keep warm and dry while getting in to the spirit of bonfire night.
